With the NOUS E3 ZigBee smart door and window sensor, you can monitor the status of your doors and windows from anywhere and receive notifications on your phone when they are open or closed. You can also create smart scenes and routines to automate smart home devices based on sensor triggers. The NOUS E3 ZigBee Tuya sensor alerts you when windows and doors open/close and sends notifications to your phone via the Nous Smart Home app. A light or alarm can also be activated when doors/windows are opened.

The door/window sensor consists of two parts and works by sensing changes in the magnetic field. Thanks to their small dimensions, the wireless sensors can be mounted on selected doors or windows using double-sided adhesive tape.

The sensor connects to other smart home devices via the NOUS E1 gateway.

Features of the ZigBee protocol:

• The Zigbee protocol operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with good throughput in built-up areas.
• Zigbee devices and sensors consume very little power, resulting in long battery life.
• Devices using the Zigbee protocol will connect to the control panel within 0.2 seconds in the event of a state change. The Wifi device will connect to the Wifi network in about 5 seconds after the status change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage in automating smart rules.
• Zigbee gateway and Zigbee devices enable much wider and larger data storage of device parameters and history. Door opening history, temperature history, motion detection history stored several months back.
