 At first glance, the camera trap impresses with its first-class camouflage, which is designed for the European countryside. In terms of design and its practicality, we have placed an 8 mm thick rope lock eye on the front panel of the camera trap. This makes the model very secure against thieves.

  What is revolutionary, however, is the power supply system for the camera trap. The OXE HORNET 4G can be powered by 8 AA batteries or 4 18650 rechargeable cells. The OXE HORNET 4G camera trap has one antenna for receiving 4G signal, which is stable even in poor conditions. Hence, the camera trap has a GSM module for sending the captured images via MMS messages to a mobile device or e-mail. You can set up to send photos to up to 4 emails or 4 phone numbers in total. The maximum photo resolution is 30 MP.

  The OXE HORNET 4G camera trap can again be connected to the OXE Solar Charger solar panel, which has been tailor-made by OXE camera traps. So, these work really well with it. Of course, there is a large 2.4" display with a full English menu. Setting up and operating the camera trap is quite simple. DESIGN

  The OXE HORNET 4G camera trap is made in a camouflaged design that matches the conditions of European forests and gardens. The camera trap does not interfere with the normal life of the animals. It is also inconspicuous for vandals or thieves. The camera trap is in a robust design. An antenna is screwed to the body of the camera trap to ensure a stable 4G signal even in poorly covered areas. On the front panel, between the lens and the PIR sensor, there is a passage tunnel for an 8 mm cable lock. Which is a very practical feature that will increase the possibility of securing the camera trap against thieves.

GSM MODULE

  The OXE HORNET 4G camera trap has a GSM module through which the photos and video (3 - 10 sec long depending on the quality of the mobile network) are sent to your device. The captured images can be sent to up to 4 phone numbers (the image will arrive on mobile devices as an MMS message) or to 4 emails (the image will arrive in your chosen email, which you can view on your mobile device, laptop, computer, etc.). Transmission is over the fastest 4G network. This ensures full stability and reliability of the transmission.

BATTERIES AND POWER SUPPLY

  Here again we have prepared a truly revolutionary novelty. Two different types of batteries can be used. To power the OXE HORNET 4G camera trap you can use either 8 AA pencil batteries or 4 18650 rechargeable batteries. When operating the OXE HORNET 4G camera trap in the summer months, it is sufficient to use conventional alkaline batteries. In winter, when temperatures drop below freezing, lithium batteries are recommended. In addition to normal operation on AA batteries or rechargeable 18650 cells, the camera trap can be powered from an external 12V/7Ah battery, which is connected to the camera trap via a power cable with terminals. Another option is to power the camera trap using a solar panel. SOLAR PANEL

  Are you going to place the camera trap in places where there is enough sunlight? Then it is great news for you that the OXE HORNET 4G is compatible with the OXE SOLAR CHARGER solar panel. The solar panel is equipped with a built-in Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh. Thanks to the solar panel, you can extend the use time of the camera trap several times.

LED LIGHT

  The OXE HORNET 4G is equipped with 78 LEDs for 940nm invisible illumination up to 20m. Images at night are thus high quality and sharp. By using an invisible illumination, there is no scaring of tracked game or alerting to the presence of a camera trap when a thief is present.

EASY SETUP

  Simply enter your email address and send photos immediately without any further setup. The operation of the camera trap is quite easy and is based on long-standing knowledge of OXE camera trap users. A large 2.4" LCD display and buttons are available for controlling the camera trap. Setting up and operating the camera trap is also facilitated by the fact that the MENU of the camera trap is completely in English.

Shooting modes

The camera trap has three modes in which you can record and save the images taken:

• Photo + video - the camera trap first records photos and then records video

Photo resolution

The OXE HORNET 4G camera trap is capable of taking very high-quality photos. The user can choose between four types of resolution:

• 30MP
• 24MP
• 16MP
• 8 MP

The photos are in JPEG format.

Serial shooting

The continuous shooting function offers the possibility to take several pictures in a row, so you will not miss any movement in front of the camera trap! The following series of photos can be set:

• 1 photo
• Series of 2 photos in a row
• Series of 3 photos in a row
• Series of 10 photos in a row

Video resolution

In addition to photos, the camera trap can also capture video footage in maximum Full HD resolution. Again, there are three resolution options to choose from:

• Full HD (1920 x 1080)
• HD (1280 x 720)
• WVGA (848 x 480)

The video is in AVI output format.

Video length

The length of the video can be set in ranges:

• 03-10sec programmable for transmission over mobile network
• 05-59sec, 1-10min programmable for saving to SD card

Response time

The OXE HORNET 4G has an incredibly fast response time of just 0.1 sec. Thanks to this, you will not miss virtually any movement in front of the camera trap.
