Digital evaluation unit for linear temperature detection. The digital system uses a thermally sensitive cable with different reaction temperatures that detects overheating along its entire length. The reaction temperature is determined by the construction of the cable and cannot be changed. When the limit temperature is reached, the cable is destroyed and an alarm condition is declared. An alarm or a cable break is signaled on the PWG evaluation unit, which can be connected to the EPS via an output relay. Design on a DIN rail.
