This professional inspection system is designed for inspecting deep boreholes, wells, and other vertical spaces. The 45-mm-diameter camera head uses two separate lenses that provide bottom and side views of the inspected area. The side camera’s electric rotation range of 360° allows for a thorough inspection of the walls along the entire circumference and enables focusing on any cracks, deposits, or other defects. Both lenses are complemented by their own set of six powerful LEDs, which provide illumination for dark spaces.

The durable stainless-steel camera head with sapphire glass is designed for underwater operation at pressures up to 30 bar. The system is equipped with a 150-meter flexible cable featuring Kevlar reinforcement, electric reeling, speed control, and a digital length counter. The MultiCam Control Box, featuring a rugged 10.1" R7 tablet, allows you to view live video, control the camera, and capture photos and video footage. The ITS Report software, with a lifetime license, is used to manage the acquired data, create inspection reports in accordance with the EN 13508-2 standard, and export them to PDF format.

Dual view for thorough inspection

The camera head, with a diameter of 45 mm, is equipped with two separate lenses that provide bottom and side views of the inspected area. The bottom camera tracks the direction of the assembly’s movement, while the side camera allows for a detailed view of the borehole or well walls. This gives the technician a more comprehensive overview and makes it easier to detect cracks, deposits, leaks, and other defects.

The side camera can be rotated 360° electrically

The side-view camera can be rotated electrically through a range of 360°, allowing for a step-by-step inspection of the entire circumference of the inspected area. The viewing angle is controlled via a tablet, so there is no need to twist the cable or rotate the entire camera head. While working, the operator can pause at a detected issue, conveniently adjust the viewing angle, and capture the necessary visual documentation.

Clear image and separate LED lighting

Both lenses use a 1/3" CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 1.3 Mpx and a 120° field of view. Both the bottom and side cameras are equipped with six powerful LEDs, for a total of 12 LEDs. Separate lighting for both viewing directions helps maintain good visibility even in deep boreholes, wells, and other locations without natural light.

Rated for underwater operation up to 30 bar

The camera head is made of durable stainless steel, and its lenses are protected by sapphire glass, which helps resist scratches and mechanical stress. The IP68 waterproof design is intended for underwater operation at pressures up to 30 bar. The robust construction thus enables professional inspections of deep boreholes and wells in demanding working conditions.

Range up to 150 meters

The system is equipped with a 150-meter flexible cable with a diameter of 8 mm, which allows the camera head to be lowered to considerable depths. The cable features oxygen-free copper conductors, a durable polyurethane jacket, and Kevlar reinforcement. This design combines the necessary flexibility with mechanical strength and helps protect the cable during repeated field use.

Electric winch with speed control

The electric winch ensures convenient deployment and retrieval of long camera cables and significantly simplifies the operator’s work. The unwinding and winding speeds can be adjusted according to the current situation and the required level of inspection precision. The design also features an emergency brake and wheels that make it easy to move the entire system to the inspection site.

Digital depth measurement and stable camera guidance

The integrated digital counter continuously monitors the length of the unwound cable and displays the measured value in meters or feet. This allows the operator to more accurately determine the depth at which the defect was found and include it in the inspection report. An adjustable guide element with a range of Ø 60–420 mm helps stabilize the camera head and keep it in the proper position.

Rugged tablet and full system control

The MultiCam Control Box comes with a durable 10.1" R7 tablet running Android 13, which is used to view footage and control the connected camera system. On the tablet, you can switch between views, pan the side camera, and take photos in JPEG format as well as record videos in MP4 format. The display supports operation while wearing work gloves, and the tablet offers connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and 4G LTE.

Professional Documentation with ITS Report

The ITS Report software, with a lifetime license, allows you to clearly manage the collected data and use it for professional documentation of the inspection. Users can create inspection reports in accordance with the EN 13508-2 standard, add details about the job and any defects found, and then export them to PDF format. The resulting report can be easily archived or sent to the customer.
