The protective metal box can be secured with a padlock or rope lock, in the top of the box, which is removable. At first glance, the Fotopast impresses with its premium camouflage, which is designed for the Czech countryside. As for the design and its practicality, we have placed a pass-through eye on the front panel of the photo trap to stretch the 8 mm thick rope lock. This can make this model very well secured against thieves.

 
  What is revolutionary new, however, is the system powering the photo trap.  The OXE HORNET 4G photo trap can be powered by 8 AA batteries or 4 rechargeable 18650 cells. The OXE HORNET 4G photo trap has one antenna for receiving 4G signal, which is stable even in poor conditions. Hence, the photo trap has a GSM module for sending the captured images via MMS messages to a mobile device or email. In total, you can set up sending photos to up to 4 emails or 4 phone numbers. The maximum photo resolution is 30 MP.

  The OXE HORNET 4G photo trap can be reconnected to the OXE Solar Charger, which has been custom-made by OXE photo traps. So these work really well with it. Of course there is a large 2,4" display with a completely Czech menu. Setting up and operating the photo trap is very easy. Just enter your receiving email and the OXE HORNET 4G photo trap is up and running immediately. 

DESIGN

  The OXE HORNET 4G photopast is made in a camouflaged design to suit the conditions of Czech forests and gardens. The photo trap does not interfere with the normal life of animals. At the same time it is inconspicuous for vandals or thieves. The photo trap is in a robust design. An antenna is screwed to the body of the photo trap, which ensures a stable 4G signal even in poorly covered areas. On the front panel, between the lens and the PIR sensor, there is a pass-through tunnel for an 8 mm rope lock. Which is a very practical feature that will increase the possibility of securing the photo trap against thieves.

GSM MODULE

  The OXE HORNET 4G photo trap has a GSM module through which the captured photos and video (3 – 10 sec depending on the quality of the mobile network) are sent to your device. The captured images can be sent to up to 4 phone numbers (the image will arrive to mobile devices as an MMS message) or to 4 emails (the image will arrive to your selected emails, which you can view on your mobile device, laptop, computer, etc.). The transmission is over the fastest 4G network. This ensures full stability and reliability of the transmission.

BATTERIES AND POWER

  Here again we have come up with a truly revolutionary new feature. The possibility of using two different types of batteries. To power the OXE HORNET 4G photo trap, you can use either 8 AA pencil batteries or 4 rechargeable 18650 batteries. When operating the OXE HORNET 4G photo trap in the summer months, it is sufficient to use conventional alkaline batteries. In winter, when temperatures drop below freezing, it is recommended to use lithium batteries. In addition to normal operation on AA batteries or 18650 rechargeable cells, the photo trap can be powered from an external 12V/7Ah battery, which is connected to the photo trap via a power cable with terminals. Another option is to power the photo trap using a solar panel. SOLAR PANEL

 Are you going to place a photo booth in a location where there is plenty of sunlight? Then the great news is that the OXE HORNET 4G photo trap is compatible with the OXE SOLAR CHARGER solar panel. The solar panel is equipped with a built-in Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh. Thanks to the solar panel, you can extend the use time of the photo trap several times.

Before you add

 The OXE HORNET 4G photo trap is equipped with 78 LEDs for 940nm invisible illumination up to 20m away. The images at night are thus high quality and sharp. By using invisible illumination, there is no scaring of the game being tracked or alerting to the presence of a photo trap when a thief is present.

FREE SETUP

The operation of the photo trap is very easy and is based on the long-standing knowledge of OXE photo trap users. To control the photo trap there is a large 2.4" LCD display, and buttons. Setting up and operating the photo trap is also made easier by the fact that the MENU of the photo trap is completely in Czech language.

Sensing Modes

There are three modes in which you can record and save the images you take:

• Photo - the photo trap records photos
• Video - the photo trap records video
• Photo + video - the photo trap first records photos and then records video

Photo resolution

The OXE HORNET 4G is capable of taking very high quality photos. The user can choose between four types of resolution:

• 30MP
• 24MP
• 16MP
• 8MP

The photos taken are in JPEG format.

Serial Capture

The burst shooting feature offers the ability to take several pictures in a row, so you won't miss any movement in front of the photo trap! The following series of photos can be set:

• 1 photo
• Series of 2 photos in a row
• Series of 3 photos in a row
• Series of 10 photos in a row

Video resolution

In addition to photos, the photo trap can also capture video footage in maximum Full HD resolution. Here too, there are three resolution options to choose from:

• Full HD (1920 x 1080)
• HD (1280 x 720)
• WVGA (848 x 480)

Video is in MOV output format.

Video Length

Video length can be set in ranges:

• 03-10sec programmable for mobile network transmission
• 05-59sec, 1-10min programmable for storage on SD card

Response Time

The OXE HORNET 4G has an incredibly fast response time of just 0.1 sec. Thanks to this, you will not miss virtually any movement in front of the photo trap.
