GW2IP - IP gateway for connecting the DUO system to the data network

The IP interface that connects the Farfisa DUO system to the IP world and expands its functionality with these features - the user can receive a video call on a mobile phone, talk to a visitor and control the entrance door. The system is based on the Farfisa cloud service. The gateway can be used not only for installations in small applications such as family houses, but also as one shared interface for all apartments in an apartment building. The availability of an Internet connection (wired or wireless) is always required. Each user can simultaneously connect multiple mobile devices (phones or tablets) to which incoming calls are routed. The first user who receives the call is able to communicate with the visitor and possibly open the entrance door remotely. The system also integrates a video memory function. The IPWAY CLOUD app is available for both Android and iOS in the respective stores. The GW2IP gateway can be powered either via the DUO bus or separately with a local power supply. In the latter case, a certain actual bus current draw for the video section must be taken into account when sizing the system, as indicated in the technical specifications below. The module can be installed on a DIN rail (size 9A DIN modules).
