The adapter for attaching a mobile phone is used for convenient image capture and recording through the eyepiece of a spotting scope or binoculars. The phone is securely and comfortably clamped into the adapter, leaving the observer's hands free for further activities. The adapter finds ideal use when inspecting the area, when observing birds (ornithology) or when target shooting.

Universal for smartphones and Apple

The mobile phone is fixed in the adapter using jaws with a set screw. Adjusting the camera lens to the axis of the eyepiece (spotting scope or binoculars) is done by loosening the screw on the adapter - setting the optimal position of the lens - retightening the screw.

Simple and quick setup

For proper image capture , we recommend setting the image magnification (zoom) in advance, sharpening the binoculars and then attaching the mobile phone adapter . Due to the large differences between the lenses of mobile phones, in some cases it is necessary to readjust the eyepiece of the eyepiece - this is done simply by turning it to the optimal position.

The jaws are lined with rubber for gentle clamping of the phone. A robust screw with a toothed washer ensures a secure connection to the adapter.

Wireless camera shutter release

The adapter package also includes a remote control for the shutter release of the camera on the mobile device. Bluetooth connectivity provides a reliable way to remotely trigger the shutter without touching your mobile device. In this way, you will avoid unwanted shaking of the image. The driver is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems.
