FOREMAN PRO ED generation
The new generation of FOMEI FOREMAN PRO ED hunting binoculars is developed with a focus on maximum use for observation at dusk, at dusk or in difficult light conditions. The main prerequisite for excellent light output is a lens with a diameter of 56 mm and new optical components providing high edge sharpness to the edges of the field of view.
The main advantages of the latest PRO ED model are the components made of ED glass , which reduce light scattering (color aberration) to the color spectrum. The resulting image is much more contrasting and increases the edge sharpness of the observed objects.
The range of top FOMEI FOREMAN PRO ED binoculars also offers the classic 8x56 hunting design. It is a telescope with excellent brightness and contrast even in poor lighting conditions or at night. A model where you don't have to compromise!
HTC and DEC anti-reflective coatings
FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars are manufactured using materials of the highest quality parameters. All lenses and eyepieces of the telescope are equipped with special anti-reflection coatings HTC (High Transmission Coating). The prisms of the telescope are treated with DEC (Di-Electrical Coating) layers. The combination of HTC / DEC anti-reflective coatings ensures maximum throughput of the entire optical system. The binoculars excel in high edge sharpness and maximum overall light transmission. Due to their excellent light transmission, they use "residual light", so they are also suitable for night observation of game, sky, etc. Where the human eye can only see a black shadow, details can be seen when observing with the FOMEI FOREMAN binoculars.
The use of HTC and DEC anti-reflective coatings ensures less than 10% light reflection and allows more than 90% light transmission.Proven technology - ED glass
What is ED (Extra-low Dispersion) technology? The so-called ED glasses (Extra-low dispersion) are preferably used in the construction of lenses. ED glasses are materials with very little color aberration - light scattering . When light passes through any material, it refracts at an angle that is proportional to the properties of the optical material (refractive index). Due to the fact that the refractive index of a material varies for different wavelengths of incident radiation, as the light passes through the material, it decomposes into a color spectrum. The basic image is thus divided into a set of color images that have different sizes and focus positions. Thus, it is not ideally possible to focus an image without colored, "rainbow" framing, which then has a major effect on the brightness and edge sharpness of the lens. FOMEI uses extremely small dispersion materials - ED glass - in the construction of lenses. Thanks to this, it is possible to minimize the color defect and achieve a practically ideal display, brightness and edge sharpness of the image. These features are used by FOMEI FOREMAN PRO XED binoculars .
Robust waterproof body
The body of the telescope is filled with dry nitrogen , which prevents internal dew when the temperature changes suddenly and also ensures its water resistance ( WATERPROOF ). The robust construction of the FOREMAN PRO XLD / ED binoculars and innovative ergonomics expand the wide range of applications. The diameter of the input lenses ( lens ) 56mm , in combination with the used material and technologies, offer great optical properties.
