The electrodes of the supercapacitor are not subject to degradation even after many thousands of cycles like ordinary batteries. So the camera can only be used connected to the power supply, which is a small thing considering the advantages of the supercapacitor.

The CEL-TEC K7 Dual GPS car camera can also guard a stationary vehicle in conjunction with a powerbox . For this purpose, it is equipped with a parking mode . If the vehicle shakes (impacts) in this mode, the recording from both cameras is automatically started , which is additionally protected against possible overwriting on the eMMC memory. It is also possible to protect recordings against overwriting outside of parking mode, either by pressing the button during the current recording, or retrospectively while viewing the recordings in the camera. The current recording can also be automatically protected thanks to the G-sensor, which reacts to sudden movement of the camera (e.g. hitting a car). If the sensor detects such a movement, it will lock the current recording against overwriting , the situation will remain in the internal memory, and you can continue driving.

The CEL-TEC K7 Dual GPS car camera is equipped with a built-in GPS module , thanks to which the recording can be played back on the computer, including the route in Google maps, speed and overload data (crashes) from the G-sensor. Position and speed information are also displayed directly in the recording image (can be turned off).

Thanks to the built-in 3" IPS LCD touch screen, you can not only conveniently set all important parameters, but also view the captured records. The menu is user-friendly . The CEL-TEC K7 Dual GPS dash cam is also equipped with a fast 5GHz Wi-Fi module , which makes operation even more convenient. The on-board camera has a built-in 128 GB eMMC storage , which is enough space for about 7 hours of recording with both connected cameras in the highest resolution (front UHD, rear FHD resolution) with H.265 compression (H.264 can also be set - greater data demand) . Thanks to the recording in the loop , there is no need to worry about filling up the memory . As soon as it is full, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest recordings with the current ones.

Part of the car camera package is an adhesive holder using high-quality tapes from spol. 3M (one holder base with extra sticker included). The attachment using the 3M sticker is firm and there is no risk of falling due to temperature changes, etc. If you want to protect the windshield from the adhesive tape, the package includes special transparent foils. They are firmly held on the glass by means of vacuum, and the holder can then be glued to them. Subsequent peeling can be done simply by picking up the foil from the corner. Just like the front camera, the rear camera can also be used with adhesive tape on the rear glass inside the car. A 6-meter cable is available for mounting the rear camera .
