Inside the camera is a built-in 64 GB memory, on which recordings are stored and encrypted. The captured files cannot be deleted directly on the camera, only viewed. Deleting files is only possible after connecting to a PC and entering a password. In the PC manager for cameras, it is also possible, for example, to synchronize the camera time, change the designation of the camera, guard, set passwords, etc.

Up to 12 hours of recording on a single charge

The PK80L camera is equipped with a pair of high-quality rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 1950 mAh, which will provide enough power for up to 6 hours of video recording, for a total of up to 12 hours! After returning from the service, it is also very easy to charge the camera, it is simply inserted into the docking station, which is included in the package, and the battery itself can also be inserted into it outside the camera. The indication LED indicates the charge status. No more searching for the right cable or turning the connector!

Automatic night light

Of course, the police camera must also be able to cope in low light conditions. That's why the CEL-TEC PK80L is equipped with a pair of invisible IR LEDs with effective afterglow for face detection up to 10 meters, which can even be switched on / off automatically according to the surrounding conditions thanks to the light sensor. If necessary, the illumination can also be controlled manually. In addition to the invisible illumination, the camera also has a classic clear LED, which can be used, for example, as an emergency replacement for the flashlight. In addition, a built-in laser is available to quickly verify that the camera is pointing correctly.

Police interventions are not controlled by the weather, so the CEL-TEC PK80L camera is made in IP68 protection, which ensures sufficient protection against dust and heavy rain or short immersion in water.

Built-in GPS module

The body of the CEL-TEC PK80L police camera hides a powerful GPS module which, together with video recording, also stores location information. This makes it easy to check your computer with a special player that displays a video along with a map of where a particular event happened. Another advantage is that the current time in the camera is synchronized using GPS. Of course, GPS can be turned off.

The heart of the camera is the powerful American chipset Ambarella A12 (S2L), thanks to which the camera not only responds immediately, but is also able to capture high quality images in FULL HD 1080P resolution. In addition, the camera also has lower resolutions to save memory space (HD, VGA). A wide-angle lens with a 125 ° angle will take care of capturing the entire scene. In addition to video, the camera can also take photos and only audio recordings.

The built-in laser then serves to quickly verify the correct orientation of the camera.
